Khaos Con

This Saturday, Howling Hamster will be demoing at Khaos Con in Dublin. As part of the event we will be demoing the latest build of Sub-Species as well as doing short panel about our experiences of game development so far. If you're interested in games or just tuckered out from browsing all the awesome stuff in the trade hall, make sure to come say hello to us. We're excited about it already and hope you are too. Techgate Galway

We've been nominated for this year's Techgate Awards. Techgate is an event from Junior Chamber International (JCI). The event is part of a week to celebrate the best technology startups and entrepreneurs in the West of Ireland. As part of the event. we will also be demoing the latest build of our game, Sub-Species. It was a pleasant surprise for us to have been nominated for the awards and would like to thank the nominators of the event. Techgate will be taking place in Monroe's live on Wednesday, the 7th of October from 7p.m. to 11p.m. 

Synapse Galway, a huge success!

Synapse Galway 2015's Indie section was a roaring success! Huge thanks to all the devs and of course, attendees for making this year's Synapse awesome.  
 

Irish Indie Developers take Synapse by storm.


This month, Galway's Game developers will be out in force at Synapse, one of Ireland's largest Technology events held in NUI Galway. This is not the first year Synapse has run, however it will be the first year to have so many local indie developers present. Galway's game development scene has grown from strength to strength in recent years and the presence of such developers at such a large event, next to names like Google, Avaya and SAP is a clear sign that an industry that was previously regarded as quite underground is finally emerging and making itself known.
